Amurru? official.

18th Dynasty.

Reign of Amenhotep IV/Akhenaten.

He is briefly mentioned in EA 170, one of the Amarna Letters sent by Tuppi-Tessup, the substitute ruler of Amurru, to his exiled father Aziru in Egypt. The letter states that the Hittite general Lupakku had captured cities in the northern Palestinian region of Amqu. The Hittites also captured Aaddumi, probably a mayor of one of these cities.
