This website has been created from March 2008 on to serve as a database for
studies of the Ancient Egyptian New Kingdom. This period, roughly corresponding with
the Late Bronze Age (ca. 1500 - 1100 BCE), has produced some of the most interesting,
intruiging and utterly fascinating features of Ancient Egyptian history and culture.

Throughout this website the 18th, 19th and 20th Dynasties are documented,
discussed and studied: from the rise of the Theban warrior kings,
over the Amarna period to the rise and fall of the Ramesside Dynasties.


The contents of most articles on this website are still subject of scholarly discussion.
When dealing with such sensitive issues, keeping a balance
between personal ideas and objectivity is always endeavoured.
